Super Hot Chocolate

Here’s a super take on the classic hot chocolate – warm, cosy and just as chocolatey as ever. The only difference is that this version is loaded with nutrients and antioxidants, all thanks to switching the usual cocoa for cacao.

Serves 2

500ml milk of choice (I love almond milk but other milks like soy, coconut, oat or macadamia would also be delicious!)
2 heaped teaspoons cacao
½ teaspoon vanilla extract or ground vanilla bean
½ teaspoon cinnamon, optional
dash of rice malt syrup or coconut sugar, optional

1. Place everything in a saucepan and heat slowly. Stir while heating to ensure the cacao dissolves
3. Serve, sit back, and enjoy!
