One Bowl Super Seed Biscuits

Seedy. Crunchy. Simple. Perfection. These one bowl super seedy biscuits are loaded with nourishment thanks to mix of seeds, oats, cinnamon and other deliciousness (say hellooo to fibre, protein, quality fats, magnesium, zinc, silica, b vitamins and more). They make the perfect snack whenever and wherever you are - including an easy breakfast option and, my personal favourite, a tasty dessert with a mug of hot cacao. Enjoy!

One Bowl Super Seed Biscuits

Makes about 14 biscuits

1 cup rolled oats
1 tablespoon flaxseeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
3 tablespoons sunflower seeds
3 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/3 cup seed/nut butter (I used one that’s a blend of chia, sesame, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews and peanuts)
2 tablespoons rice malt syrup or honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees Celsius conventional
2. In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients
3. Add the rest of the ingredients
4. Mix with your hands until well combined (Using your hands easier than a spoon...and more fun! Wet your hands first to make it even easier)
5. Roll the mix into balls and place on a greased or lined baking tray, then flatten each ball with your hand (again, wet hands make this easier!)
6. Pop in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden. Enjoy!

Top tip - store these in a glass jar or container in the fridge or freezer to make them last longer
