The Ultimate TLC (Tummy Loving Crush)

Wanna give your digestive system a little TLC? Well, my friends, this fruit crush may indeed be the answer! This super simple recipe contains papaya, pineapple and kiwifruit - all of which contain specific enzymes (papain, bromelain and actinidin respectively) that help you breakdown and digest food, especially proteins. The addition of chia seeds, ginger and cinnamon provide this recipe with even more tummy loving benefits. Just to give a few examples, chia is an excellent source of fibre, ginger is fabulous for nausea, and cinnamon brings warmth to digestive organs. Oh and did I mention it’s reaaaaally tasty? Enjoy!

1 cup mixed frozen papaya, pineapple and kiwifruit (if you don’t have one of these, that’s fine, just make do with what you’ve got!)
1 cup water
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1 tespoon ginger, freshly grated (optional)

1. Pop everything into a blender and blend until well combined
